Cooking

On this page you will find links to recipes I and my family enjoy! I began being interested in cooking when my spouse and I decided to start a family in order to give my children good food memories growing up and as a way to connect to the blend of beautiful cultures that make up our heritage.

Be warned: not all my recipes will have exact measurements. Sometimes you just have to dump the garlic in until you hear your ancestors screaming that you’ve gone too far. And then add an extra bulb out of pure spite.

Gochujang goes on latkas!

On my side, I have Ashkenazi Romanian and French maternal grandparents who took refuge in Israel after WWII, so the food I grew up with comes from a blended Israeli and Ashkenazi European background. My husband was adopted from Korea and never explored much in the way of Korean cuisine, so I’ve been learning to cook Korean food to be able to expose our kids to the flavors, and making a unique collection of blended Ashkenazi-Korean food!

This is a pretty new blog for me, so there’s not a lot up now, but I’ll add more soon!
